About the Role
Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial records of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial information to management. The Accountant will also be responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the financial records of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and perform regular audits to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports.
• Communicate financial information to management and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
